In cornhole rules, there is also the scoring system that is determined by certain conditions. To know more about the scoring of cornhole, you can read the following passages.

General Scoring system

To get the bag enters the hole, it can slide, get directly to the hole, or bounces on the another bag. The score when you get the bag into the hole is three points. If your bag does not enter the hole, but it is on the board until the end of a set, you will get one point. However, if your bag is hanging on the edge of the board, meanwhile the edge of your bag touches the ground, you will get no score and your bag is removed from the board. The game will end until a team scores more than 21 points by a player in a set. There is also the scoring system in which a team can score 21 points three times without the competitor can reach 21 points.

Cancellation scoring

There are also cancellation scorings that can be applied in both teams. For example, if a team gets the two bags into the hole and one on the board, then this team will get three points, in a condition that the another team scores one bag into the hole and two bags on the board. Additionally, this team will get only one point. It is because each team has more than one bag into the hole, which removes three points and one bag on the board which is canceling one point. Hence, four points are removed from each team.
